Amrit Subhadarsi began his career in academia as Assistant Professor at Renaissance Law College, Indore. He has taught Intellectual Property Law, Property Law and Contract Law during his tenure there. His research interests include intellectual property law, competition law, corporate governance and linkages between emerging technologies and corporate law. He has not only secured publications in national and international journals of repute and edited book, but is also the first author in the country to publish a book relating to competition law trends in the global telecommunication industry.
He also possesses the unique distinction of being nominated as the sole LLM representative for a lecture series, by Prof. G.V Ajappa, a leading expert on jurisprudence in India. He was also conferred with the ‘Best Research Paper Award’ at an international conference, for a paper on ‘Electronic Commerce and Competition Law’ and scored the highest marks in his dissertation during his post graduation in corporate law from National Law University, Odisha. Before his foray into academia, he has worked as trademark analyst in legal consultancy for foreign clients in the domain of Intellectual Property Law, especially trademark laws.
