Ipsita Das

Assistant Professor

Ipsita Das have around seven years experience in academics. She currently works as an Assistant Professor – II of School of Law. She teaches all corporate law subjects and specialized in Investment Law, Company Law and Merger and Acquisitions papers. She also taught Torts and Family Law to the students. She teaches the LLM students since 2011 and has guided few LLM students to prepare their dissertations. She is currently pursuing her PhD at KIIT Deemed to be University. She has completed her LLM from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Telegana and LLB from Madusudhan Law College affiliated to Utkal University. Prior to joining in KIIT, she was a guest faculty at United School of Business Management and took law papers for the MBA students.

She had the privilege to go to UK in the Faculty of Laws Events on three CLP (current legal problems topics i.e. UCL CLP: The Implied Term of Honesty and Fair Dealing, IBIL & MARQUES: Question the Trade Mark Judges, and UCL CLP: ‘Frenzied Law Making’: Over criminalization by Numbers’ at University College of London (UCL), United Kingdom). She has participated in various national and international seminars, conferences and presented paper for which she was awarded Best Paper Presenter on corporate social responsibility paper. Currently she is the faculty Coordinator of Centre for studies in Business and Corporate Law, member of Moot Court Society, member of Trial Advocacy Society, and member of NSS wing.
