As a young and a new teacher of Law kumarjeeb Pegu has prioritized Environmental Law as his area of domain and wish to inculcate and sense of social lawyering and compassion among the law students through the lens of issues that revolve around the jurisprudence of environmental protection and the preservation of community rights of people dependent on the environment. Similarly reflecting on his own participation in the civil society movements during his student days he wishes to carry forth his research in the area of law related to the environmental and land issues pertaining to the goals of social development and the upliftment of the indigenous and the tribal communities in India. Currently he engages himself in teaching of Environmental Law and Policy at the School Of Law, KIIT Deemed To Be University, Odisha.
