Dr. Ashok Kumar Srivastava has over thirty five years of teaching experience. A graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. in law from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, U.P. India. He started his teaching carrier from MGKV, Varanasi and taught there for three and half years. Joined Utkal University, Bhubaneswar's constituent Law college (now a state law University) Madhusudan Law College Cuttack, Odisha as a lecturer and superannuated from there as Prof.cum - Principle. After superannuation he served in the capacity of teaching faculty in various leading Universities of India like KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar, National Law University, Mumbai, Amity Law School Mumbai. Currently he is working as an Adunct Professor at the KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Srivastava had hold various administrative positions, like Principle, Warden , Superintendent hostel and Director of five year B.A.LL.B.(H) course at M.S.Law College Cuttack and GST Centre at MNLU , Mumbai. He has written several research articles on different law subjects , which have been published in India's reputed law journals. Dr. Srivastava is the author of two books, one the Transfer of Property Act & Easements Act, published by Central Law Publication,Allahabad and the other Marriage and Divorce under Hindu and Mohammedan Law , published by the Law House, Cuttack. Dr. Srivastava have guided many post graduate students for their LL.M. dissertations and six Ph.D. candidates for their Doctorate degree in law. He has been invited by various institutions for lecture delivery and as examiner as well as Chief examiner.
