The School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University, through its Centre for Studies on Business and Corporate Law (CBCL), successfully organised a One Week Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme “From Inclusion to Impact: Women Entrepreneurship, Digital Rights, ESG Accountability & Corporate Governance Reforms” from 4th to 9th May 2026 in online mode under the aegis of the Department of Business Law and Corporate Governance (DBLCG), in collaboration with IQAC, KIIT-DU.
The FDP was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University Jodhpur, along with Prof. (Dr.) K.D. Raju, Pro Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 academicians, researchers, legal professionals, and students from premier institutions across India.
The programme featured 22 technical sessions delivered by eminent academicians, legal experts, policymakers, and industry professionals from India and abroad. The sessions focused on contemporary issues relating to women entrepreneurship, ESG accountability, AI governance, digital rights, constitutional morality, arbitration, corporate governance reforms, and sustainable development.
The valedictory session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Amar Pal Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU, and Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, were also present during the concluding session.
The programme was coordinated under the leadership of Dr. (CS) Pratiti Nayak, Associate Professor & Associate Dean (Research), CBCL, along with Dr. Ipsita Das, Associate Dean (Post-Graduate) & HoD, DBLCG, and Ms. Shrabani Kar, Co-Coordinator, CBCL.
The FDP successfully fostered interdisciplinary learning, research collaboration, and meaningful academic engagement on emerging legal and governance challenges, reaffirming KIIT School of Law’s commitment to impactful legal education and policy discourse.
