Amar Kumar Mohanty

Assistant Professor

Dr. Amar Kumar Mohanty holds a Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur in Development Economics. He has completed M.A and M.Phil from Utkal University. He had worked as a Research Supervisor in NKC Centre for Development Studies at Bhubaneswar. Owing to interest on pursuing academic career, he shifted his professional domain to teaching at C.V.Raman College of Engineering Bhubaneswar and worked for two years. Before joining KIIT Law School in January 2014, he was associated with BIET, Bhadrak, Odisha and had taught Engineering Economics & Costing and Entrepreneurship Development to undergraduate and Managerial Economics, Business Research Methods to postgraduate students at BIET, Bhadrak Odisha for almost 15 years. Besides teaching, also takes interest on research in development economics, attending and completing short-term programmes, workshops conducted by Professionals and Management Gurus. He has written several research papers and has attended various conferences.
