KIIT School of Law is pleased to share that Assistant Professor Sundar Athreya participated in a Round Table Conference on “Cultural Rights, Innovation, and Development in the AI Moment – Towards a Public Domain Framing.”

The round table brought together academics, policy experts, civil society representatives, and thought leaders to deliberate on the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence, intellectual property regimes, cultural rights, innovation ecosystems, and equitable development. Discussions focused on developing a rights-based and public-interest-oriented framework for AI governance, particularly in the context of the Global South.
