In November 2024, Dr. Bishop Daryl Jones, JD, MPA visited our law school, engaging in a series of activities designed to enhance academic collaboration, promote awareness of moral leadership, and foster interdisciplinary connections within the legal education framework. His visit was marked by a comprehensive schedule of classes, workshops, and interactions that enriched the learning environment for both students and faculty.
The engagement began with a class on commercial arbitration on November 5, honoring the importance of arbitration and setting a positive tone for the month. Following this, Dr. Bishop conducted a series of classes focused on moral adaptive leadership. These classes, coordinated by faculties from our law school provided students with critical insights into the intersections of morality and law, encouraging thoughtful discussions and analyses of contemporary issues.
In addition to his lectures, Dr. Bishop led several workshops aimed at enhancing practical skills among faculty and students. One notable workshop on Joint Research Proposal Writing explored innovative teaching methodologies that promote active student engagement as a part of projects. Another series of workshops focused on moral adaptive leadership, providing faculty with essential strategies for establishing and managing legal ethics.
