We are delighted to announce that the team of Madhusmita Behera, Suhrita Sanyal, and Asmita Chatterjee from KIIT Law School emerged as Semi-Finalists at the prestigious 1st State Level Mediation Competition, 2024, organized by Birla School of Law, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, on 12th and 13th September 2024. Furthermore, Aryan Vir Roy Chowdhury was adjudged as the Best Mediator, a well-deserved recognition of his exemplary mediation skills.
The team was expertly coached by Purushraj Patnaik, Student Convenor of the KIIT Centre for Mediation, and their participation was guided by the unwavering support of Prof. Umang Ghildiyal and Prof. Shashank Nande, Faculty Convenors of the Centre for Mediation. The participants showcased exceptional abilities in negotiation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, demonstrating a mastery of mediation techniques. Their stellar performance not only brought recognition to them individually but also brought immense pride to our institution.
