Dr. Zeenat Taher, Associate Professor, KIIT School of Law was invited as Guest Speaker for a special session on “Women Empowerment” on the occasion of ISHRAE Women’s National Program, organised by the “Indian Society of Heating, Air conditioning and Refrigeration (ISHRAE) Bhubaneswar Chapter in association with School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Aerospace Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University on 13th December 2025 at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
She delivered a lecture on the topic “Minority Women’s Empowerment: Promoting Sustainability and Gender Equality”. She mentioned about her significant contributions in the field of gender equality and women rights. Her talk encouraged the participants to think and act in future towards building an equitable society.
