Akshat Gautam

Assistant Professor

Akshat Gautam graduated with a B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) from the National Law School of India University at Bangalore, and began his career in the Legal Department of the National Stock Exchange, handling their litigation portfolio. He subsequently moved to Delhi where he worked on a wide diversity of matters including ones before the ITAT, Delhi District Courts, the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court, apart from freelance advisory work with startups, businesses and trusts. During the Pandemic, he moved back home to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and after briefly practicing there went back to his alma mater for an LLM, writing his dissertation on overlaps of competition law, other regulatory laws with a specific focus on Public Sector Enterprises. He joined KIIT School of Law immediately after this, and is currently trying to write more systematically, including on his (yet to be online) blog.
