Mr. Amlan Chakraborty is currently teaching law as Assistant Professor- Grade I at KIIT(deemed to be university). He is pursuing his PhD in the area of IPR and competition laws at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. He has also taught previously at National Law University, Odisha. He was also a UGC-JRF fellow at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. He has pursued his LL.M in Business laws from the prestigious National Law School of India University, Bengaluru where he was also a teaching assistant to Prof. T. Ramkrishna having taught intellectual property laws to undergraduate students. He is interested in the areas of intellectual property laws ,competition laws and corporate laws.
