KIIT Law School Sports Committee successfully organized its much-awaited Annual Sports Fest, PARAKRAM 2025, from November 7-9 2025, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and unity. The three-day event brought together students of School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University, showcasing immense enthusiasm and energy throughout.
The Grand Opening Ceremony, held in LH-1 at KIIT School of Law, was graced by several distinguished guests including Prof. (Dr.) N.L. Mitra, Mr. Akshdeep Singh, Indian Olympian; Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese, and Mr. Lokanath Mohapatra. Their presence inspired the students and set an encouraging tone for the event. The ceremony began with the lighting of lamp, symbolizing passion, perseverance, and excellence, followed by an impressive dance performance by the students.
Over the three days, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports were conducted across different venues, including Campus-16, Campus-6, Campus-15 and the Dutee Chand Athletics Stadium. Events such as football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, kabaddi, chess, carrom, swimming and athletics witnessed intense yet friendly competition. The participants displayed remarkable sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork, embodying the true spirit of PARAKRAM.
The organizing committee extends their heartfelt gratitude towarsds the DG Sports, University of KIIT & KISS, for their unwavering support and for providing world-class and also like to extend our gratitude towards all the faculties, administrative and non-teaching staffs who helped us making the event successful.
After three days of thrilling matches and enthusiastic participation, the best teams triumphed in each sport, earning well-deserved recognition for their consistent effort and excellence. We also sincerely thank each and every volunteer and member of the disciplinary committee whose dedication and hard work ensured the smooth execution of the entire event.
PARAKRAM 2025 truly reflected the motto “Play, Persevere, Prevail”, promoting fitness, camaraderie, and holistic development among students.
