The Students of School of Law, KIIT DU participated in the National Sports Competition of  NLU (O), Viraj 2024. The flagship inter-university sports event named ‘VIRAJ’ is hosted with immense pride by the Sports Committee of NLUO, which acts as a prominent center for sports among universities across the country. The event includes participation from some of the top law universities across the country. VIRAJ marks the true spirit of sports, perseverance, and ambition with a testament to incessant hard work and sportsmanship, hosting various disciplines of sports such as Cricket, Football, Throwball, Volleyball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, etc. The event, thus, provides for a much-required platform for highly talented sportspersons to showcase their talents. A 93-member contingent of the school of law led by the Convenor and Co-Convenor of the Sports Society, Mr. Ankur Anand and Mr. Aman Thakur respectively bagged the best
contingent award for the contingent’s all-round performance in different sports. The Contingent was congratulated and felicitated by Dr. Rose Varghese, Director, School of Law, Mr. Siddhant Sarangi, Faculty Convenor of the KIIT Law School Sports Club and other members of the faculty on 25.03.2024 in the campus.
The Students also got an opportunity to meet Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Hon’ble Registrar, KIIT DU who congratulated the students on their wonderful all round performance. The following students won awards at different events at the National Competition: –
