Ksol Centre for Studies in Business and Corporate Law (KCBCL) had the privilege of hosting an insightful lecture by Mr. Krishna Rath, a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor and leading financial strategist, on the Stock Market on 22nd April, 2025. The session explored fundamental concepts such as what stocks are, why companies choose to list, and the key players and regulations involved in the market.
We also delved into how to determine the optimum price of a stock, the truths behind balance sheet numbers, and the reasons behind market fluctuations. The effectiveness of technical indicators was discussed to help better understand market trends. Engaging case studies on Yes Bank and Page Industries provided practical insights, complemented by a movie clip that made complex stock market concepts easier to grasp. The event concluded with an interactive Q and A and a discussion on why investing in the equity market is essential.
