Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Shahi, Assistant Professor-II at KIIT School of Law, was honoured to be invited on November 25, 2025, to impart specialized training to state police officials at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar. The training session focused on “Investigation provisions under Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023,” enlightening officers on the critical new legal framework for investigation under this landmark legislation. The event took place at the premier police training institution located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
This opportunity exemplified the important interface between legal academia and frontline law enforcement, strengthening the capacity of police officers to apply advanced statutory provisions in investigation procedures.
