KIIT School of Law successfully organised the Kolkata Chapter Alumni Meet 2026 on 10 January 2026 at the IIT Kharagpur Research Park, bringing together nearly 60 alumni from diverse professional backgrounds. The meet served as a vibrant platform to reconnect, reflect, and strengthen alumni–institution ties.
The event was graced by Raju K. D., Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University, who highlighted the crucial role of alumni in shaping institutional legacy.Dr. Sudipto De Sarkar, Dean (Industry Engagements, Student Affairs & Admissions), emphasised strengthening industry–academia collaboration through alumni participation. Dr. Shreya Chatterjee, Associate Dean (Doctoral Programme) fondly recalled her association with the first and second batches of KIIT School of Law and underscored sustained alumni connect.
Dr. Sambhabi Patnaik and Mr. Shashank Nande, Coordinator, Alumni Relations Committee, outlined structured alumni engagement initiatives. Alumni’s also actively participated by sharing feedback and suggestions, contributing valuable perspectives for strengthening alumni–student interaction. The meet concluded on a warm and nostalgic note, reaffirming lifelong bonds with the alumni fraternity.
