Students and faculty members of KIIT School of Law actively participated in the Mega Blood Donation Camp organised at KIIT University under the Art of Giving initiative, during which an exceptional 3,000 units of blood were collected in a single day. The initiative reflected KIIT’s deep-rooted commitment to humanitarian service and public health.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT University, and Dr. Jyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT University, whose participation encouraged students and faculty across the university. From KIIT School of Law, Dr. Raju K. D., Pro-Vice Chancellor,KIIT University was present along with the Dean (Academics), Dean (Student Affairs), and senior faculty members, lending leadership and motivation to the volunteers.

A large number of law students actively volunteered and donated blood, assisting with donor registration, coordination, and on-ground facilitation. Their disciplined engagement ensured smooth management of the large donor turnout throughout the day.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of KIIT School of Law played a pivotal role by mobilising volunteers, spreading awareness on voluntary blood donation, and providing logistical support, embodying the NSS motto of “Not Me, But You.”

Held in the presence of Founder Achyuta Samanta, the camp stands as a proud testament to KIIT School of Law’s dedication to empathy, service, and nation-building through meaningful community engagement.
