KIIT School of Law is celebrating Budget Conclave Week 2026 from 9th to 16th February 2026, centred on an academic and analytical engagement with the Union Budget for the Financial Year 2026–27. The initiative aims to foster informed discussions on fiscal policy, governance, and its constitutional and socio-economic implications.

The conclave was formally inaugurated on 09 February 2026 by the Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor in the presence of faculty members and students, marking the commencement of a week-long series of intellectual activities. Budget Conclave Week is designed to encourage critical thinking and practical understanding of budgetary processes among law students.

As part of the programme, the School will host an extempore competition titled “Fiscal Flash in 120 Seconds,” providing students with a platform to articulate concise and impactful views on budgetary themes. The week will also feature expert sessions by academicians and practitioners, offering multidisciplinary perspectives on fiscal governance and public finance.

The conclave reflects the School’s commitment to academic excellence and contemporary legal discourse.
