KIIT School of Law had the distinct privilege of hosting Dr. Loreta Taugienė, Associate Professor at Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, for a series of enriching academic engagements. She delivered two insightful sessions titled “Legal Nature of University Governance in the Realm of Academic Ethics” and “Artificial Intelligence Policy for Academia.” Her lectures offered valuable global perspectives on university governance, research integrity, academic accountability, and the evolving ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence in higher education.

The visit commenced with a formal interaction and felicitation by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Raju K. D., reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering international academic collaboration. The sessions witnessed active participation from faculty members, research scholars, and students, leading to meaningful discussions on strengthening ethical frameworks within academic institutions.
