On 13 February 2026 (Friday), the Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research (CCLSR) organized an educational field trip to the Centre for Judicial Archives, the Record Room Digitisation Centre, and the Museum of Justice at the Odisha High Court, Cuttack. The visit aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to the historical, archival, and administrative dimensions of the judiciary beyond classroom learning.

At the Centre for Judicial Archives, students explored preserved records dating back to the early 19th century and learned about conservation techniques safeguarding Odisha’s legal heritage. The Record Room Digitisation Centre offered insights into modern archival practices, including scientific preservation and digital conversion of legacy case files to promote efficient and paperless judicial functioning.

The visit concluded at the Museum of Justice, which traces the evolution of the judicial system through rare documents, landmark judgments, and curated exhibits.

Students were accompanied by Dr. Anshu Adarsh, Mr. Shashank Nande, and Mr. Loknath Mohapatra.
