On 2nd March 2026, Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Shahi, Head of the Department, Criminal Law & Criminal Justice System, KIIT School of Law, was invited by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, to deliver an online lecture for Company Secretary professionals. The session was conducted on the topic “Fundamental Rules of Interpretation of Statutes.” During the lecture, Dr. Shahi discussed key principles of statutory interpretation and their practical relevance in legal and corporate practice. His participation reflects the growing academic engagement of KIIT School of Law with professional bodies and its contribution to advancing legal understanding among industry professionals.
