The students of KIIT School of Law, under the aegis of the Legal Services Clinic, successfully organised a Legal Literacy Awareness Camp at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

The session was thoughtfully designed for educators, recognising teachers as the first and most immediate point of contact for children beyond the home. By equipping them with a clear and practical understanding of child protection laws, the initiative aimed to enable teachers to identify concerns, respond appropriately, and ensure the safety and well-being of their students.

Through interactive discussions and focused engagement, the programme sought to strengthen awareness at the grassroots level while fostering a culture of vigilance and responsibility within educational institutions.

This initiative reflects KIIT School of Law’s continued commitment to community outreach, legal awareness, and the promotion of access to justice.
