KIIT School of Law is proud to share that Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari, Head, Department of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, represented India as a featured speaker at the prestigious VII School of Foreign Law (2026) hosted by Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), Russia, one of the country’s leading institutions for legal education and research.
The international forum was organized around the theme “Legal Regulation of Innovations: Russian and Foreign Practice” and brought together eminent legal scholars, academicians, and experts from across the world to discuss emerging legal challenges in the era of technological advancement.
At the conference, Mr. Ansari delivered a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovations in India,” offering insights into India’s evolving approach to regulating emerging technologies while balancing constitutional values, legal safeguards, and ethical considerations. His presentation highlighted key issues relating to AI governance, digital innovation, data protection, and the role of law in ensuring responsible technological development.
The programme also facilitated meaningful exchanges with scholars and experts from countries including Brazil, China, and Argentina, fostering comparative perspectives on innovation, regulation, and digital governance.
His participation, facilitated through the Centre for International Scientific Cooperation at MSAL and the Association of Lawyers of Russia, reflects KIIT School of Law’s growing international academic presence and commitment to contributing to global discourse on law, technology, and public policy.
