KIIT School of Law is proud to share that Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, represented India as a resource person at the World Congress on Environmental Policy, an international forum co-organized by Praeeminentia Iustitia (Peru), Itaúna University, UNESC, and the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil.

Mr. Ansari delivered a presentation titled “Federalism in the Light of International Law and Environment,” where he examined the relationship between constitutional federalism and international environmental governance. His presentation explored how cooperative federalism can facilitate the implementation of international environmental commitments while preserving the constitutional autonomy of states.

The session brought together scholars and experts from across the world to deliberate on emerging challenges in environmental governance, sustainability, and international law. As the sole resource person representing India, Mr. Ansari contributed valuable perspectives on balancing environmental protection with constitutional principles in a federal framework.

His participation reflects KIIT School of Law’s commitment to advancing global academic engagement and contributing to international discourse on constitutional law, environmental governance, and public policy.

KIIT School of Law congratulates Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari on this distinguished international achievement and wishes him continued success in his academic endeavors.
