KIIT School of Law is pleased to share that Mr. Udit Narayan Mishra, Assistant Professor, served as a Resource Person for the Double Credit Course on “Cyber Crime and Cyber Forensics through the Lens of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam”, organized by the Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights (CCJHR), National Law University Odisha (NLUO).

The month-long virtual programme, conducted from 4 July to 2 August 2026, witnessed participation from over 300 students and legal professionals from across the country.

Mr. Mishra delivered two expert sessions on “Judicial Scrutiny & Precedents” and “Privacy & Data Protection in Digital Investigations.” His lectures examined the evolving legal framework governing electronic evidence, judicial precedents under the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, and the constitutional dimensions of privacy in the context of digital investigations. He also discussed the legal safeguards and procedural requirements relating to search, seizure, and preservation of electronic evidence under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.

His participation as a resource person at this national-level academic programme reflects KIIT School of Law’s continued commitment to advancing legal scholarship, capacity building, and academic excellence in emerging areas of cyber law, digital evidence, and criminal justice.
