KIIT School of Law had the privilege of hosting Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Faculty Member at Harvard Law School and former President of the Central Tibetan Administration, for an engaging and thought-provoking session on “Law, Ethics and Political Leadership.”
The session provided students and faculty with an opportunity to reflect on the complex relationship between law, ethics, governance, political leadership, democracy and human rights. Drawing from his extensive academic and public leadership experience, Dr. Sangay shared valuable insights into the role of institutions, ethical decision-making and responsible leadership in addressing contemporary challenges.
The interaction encouraged meaningful dialogue and critical reflection, offering students perspectives that extend beyond the classroom and connect legal education with the realities of public life and governance. The session also highlighted the importance of ethical leadership and institutional responsibility in strengthening democratic values and advancing justice and human rights.
