KIIT School of Law organised the Alumni Meet 2026 – Delhi Chapter at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event was organised by the Student Alumni Relations Committee (SARC) with the aim of strengthening the bond between the institution and its alumni while providing a platform for networking and meaningful engagement.

The meet witnessed the participation of nearly 90 alumni representing graduating batches from 2012 to 2025. The gathering reflected the diverse professional presence of KIIT School of Law alumni, who are currently working in various fields including litigation, corporate law firms, in-house legal departments, policy organisations, academia, and judicial services. The event served as an opportunity for alumni from different batches to reconnect with each other and with their alma mater.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Parimita Dash, Associate Dean (Student Affairs) and Faculty Coordinator Alumni Relation Committee, who expressed pride in the achievements of the alumni and emphasised the importance of maintaining a strong and lasting relationship between the institution and its graduates.

During the event, a video message by Hon’ble Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, was played, in which he conveyed his heartfelt best wishes to the alumni and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their professional journeys while staying connected with their alma mater.

A video presentation prepared by the Student Alumni Relations Committee showcased memorable moments from the alumni’s time at KIIT School of Law, capturing glimpses of academic life, cultural events, moot court competitions, and various student activities.

Prof. Dr.K. D. Raju, Pro Vice-Chancellor of KIIT University, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significant role alumni play in enhancing the reputation and legacy of an institution. He encouraged the alumni to remain connected with the university and contribute through mentorship and professional engagement.

Dr. Sudipta De Sarkar, Dean (Student Affairs, Admission and Industry Engagement) presented an overview of the growth and development of KIIT University and KIIT School of Law, highlighting academic advancements, research initiatives, and student achievements. 

Dr. Jinia Kundu, Associate Dean (Industry Engagement) also addressed the alumni, fondly recalling her interactions with many of them during their time as students and expressing pride in their professional journeys.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Shashank Nande, Faculty Co-Convenor of the Student Alumni Relations Committee, KIIT School of Law. Prof. Nande expressed sincere gratitude to all the alumni who took the time to join the gathering and reconnect with their alma mater. 

During the interactive session, several alumni also shared valuable feedback and suggestions for the continued development of the institution. They emphasised the importance of incorporating emerging and contemporary areas of law into the curriculum so that students remain aligned with evolving legal practices. Alumni also suggested organising regular alumni meets and mentorship interactions to strengthen engagement between graduates and the institution. Further, they highlighted the need to place greater focus on practical skill-based components such as (Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing) subjects, and training on courtroom etiquette and decorum for newly inducted law students.

An interactive alumni session allowed participants to introduce themselves and share insights about their professional experiences. The event concluded with dinner and informal interactions, providing an opportunity for alumni, faculty members, and student organisers to reconnect and strengthen their professional network.

The Alumni Meet reaffirmed the enduring bond between KIIT School of Law and its alumni community, while highlighting the importance of continued engagement in shaping the institution’s future.
