KIIT School of Law observed National Anti-Ragging Day with an Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme organised at the Reading Room, Queens’ Castle-7, KIIT Deemed to be University.

The programme was attended by Dr. Kajal Parashar, Hostel Head Warden; Dr. Kananbala Ray, Additional Warden, Girls’ Hostel; Dr. Parimita Dash, Senior Superintendent, QC-7; Dr. Binita Behera, Superintendent, QC-7; and Ms. Sarita Sinha, Hostel In-charge, along with students from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th years.

The programme focused on sensitising students about the harmful effects and consequences of ragging, the importance of discipline and mutual respect, and the need to maintain a safe, friendly, and inclusive hostel environment.

Students were encouraged to remain vigilant and report any incident of ragging or harassment to the appropriate authorities without hesitation. The session also reinforced the importance of adhering to the prescribed anti-ragging rules and regulations.

The programme concluded with a strong message of “Zero Tolerance Towards Ragging”, reaffirming the commitment towards creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every student.
