Dr. Hiranmaya Nanda
Associate Professor-II, Associate Dean, KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC)
Dr. Hiranmaya Nanda is an accomplished legal academician, researcher, and mentor with more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. He is presently serving as Associate Professor-II at the School of Law, KIIT, and also holds the position of Associate Dean, KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC). Prior to joining KIIT, Dr. Nanda served at the SOA National Institute of Law. He has also been associated with Madhusudan Law College, Cuttack, as a Visiting Faculty. In addition to his academic engagements, he has contributed to professional legal education and judicial training through his association with the Odisha Judicial Academy, where he has conducted training programmes for judicial officers.

Dr. Nanda has an extensive research profile, with more than 50 publications in Scopus-indexed, UGC-recognized, and other national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored/contributed to 10 books and book chapters. His academic contributions further include 70 papers presented or published in various seminars, conferences, training programmes, workshops, faculty development programmes, refresher courses, webinars, magazines, and other academic forums. Recognizing his academic expertise and scholarly contribution, Dr. Nanda has been selected as a Reviewer for reputed academic publications, including the Indian Law Institute Journal, New Delhi, as well as journals published by SAGE and Wiley.
Areas of Teaching and Research
Dr. Nanda has actively contributed to the development of legal scholarship through research supervision and academic mentorship. He has successfully guided scholars and continues to mentor and support several emerging researchers in their academic pursuits. In recognition of his contribution and professional expertise, Dr. Nanda has been nominated and was recently felicitated as a Distinguished Jury Member for the Shakti Samman, State of Odisha.
