KIIT School of Law, Deemed to be University, successfully concluded the Youth Diplomacy Conference 2.0, held on 4th and 5th April 2026 at the Campus 11 Auditorium. The conference brought together over 230 student delegates and served as a dynamic platform for simulating international diplomacy while nurturing negotiation, leadership, and policy-making skills among aspiring young diplomats.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by an esteemed panel of dignitaries. Shri Subhasish Khuntia, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), attended as the Chief Guest and delivered an insightful keynote address on the evolving role of youth in global governance and diplomacy.
Mrs. Kalika Mahapatra, Former UNDP Project Manager, joined as the Guest of Honour and shared valuable perspectives drawn from her extensive experience in international development and grassroots engagement.
The formal proceedings commenced with the Welcome Address by Prof. (Dr.) Raju K.D., Pro Vice-Chancellor, KIIT, who highlighted the importance of such platforms in shaping globally aware and responsible citizens. This was followed by a Special Address by Prof. (Dr.) N.L. Mitra, Professor Emeritus, who emphasized the significance of dialogue, diplomacy, and informed engagement in contemporary global affairs.
The conference concluded on a high note with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event a resounding success.
