The Centre for Defence and Strategic Studies, KIIT School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University, organized an engaging session on March 24, 2026, focusing on contemporary geopolitical developments and evolving global strategic dynamics.
The session featured Major General Atanu Pattanaik, who delivered a structured and insightful lecture on the ongoing USA–Iran tensions. He examined the key drivers of conflict, strategic interests of major global powers, and the wider implications for the Middle East and the global economy.
The lecture concluded with a forward-looking analysis, addressing critical concerns such as the likelihood of a ground invasion, risks of nuclear escalation, and potential future geopolitical flashpoints.
