The Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS), New Delhi is headed by the Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha who is ex-officio President of the Institute,  conducted an online workshop on “Right to Privacy and Digital Surveillance” in Hybrid mode at Room No. 01, KIIT School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University. 

Dr. Seema Kaul Singh, Director, ICPS, inaugurated the session, followed by a keynote address by Shri Rishi Anand, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, on constitutional protections against mass surveillance. Dr. Pavan Duggal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, delivered insights on data privacy concerns and AI-driven governance. A dynamic Q and A session moderated by Mr. Shashank Nande, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Law, KIIT DU.

Designed for 6th and 8th-semester Constitutional Law (Hons.) students, the workshop provided a critical platform for understanding digital privacy rights. Prof. (Dr.) Sukumar Dash, Dr. Sudipto De Sarkar, Dr. Tulishree Pradhan and Dr. Hiranmaya Nanda KIIT DU faculty played a pivotal role in hosting the event.
