The KIIT School of Law successfully hosted a distinguished guest lecture on March 11, 2026, featuring Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha. The session delved into the intricate “Relationship Between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles in the Indian Constitution,” offering students a profound look at the balance between individual liberties and social welfare.

The event commenced in LH1 with the felicitation of Dr. Sinha by Prof. (Dr.) Raju K.D., Pro Vice-Chancellor of KIIT, and Prof. (Dr.) N.L. Mitra, Professor Emeritus. Following a warm welcome address by the Pro Vice-Chancellor and insightful opening remarks by Prof. Mitra, Dr. Sinha took the floor. His lecture masterfully navigated the evolution of judicial thought regarding the complementary nature of Parts III and IV of the Constitution.
