The KIIT Legal Services Clinic, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (D.L.S.A.), Khurda, successfully organised a legal awareness rally on 6th April 2026. The initiative aimed to promote awareness on labour rights, summer health risks, and the NALSA (Financial Assistance to Drop Out and Disadvantaged Children) Scheme, 2025.

The programme commenced with an inaugural session, where distinguished speakers emphasised the significance of legal literacy, social responsibility, and access to welfare schemes as essential tools for community empowerment.

The rally proceeded from LH1 to Campus 6, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Participants actively engaged with the public through impactful slogans and the distribution of informative pamphlets. A nukkad natak staged at Campus 6 served as a powerful medium to highlight critical issues such as labour exploitation, lack of basic amenities, and the importance of education and legal awareness.

The initiative not only strengthened community engagement but also reinforced the transformative role of legal aid in empowering marginalised sections and fostering a more just and inclusive society.
