Third edition of “We Dissent ; A debate competition” on “SENSE OR CENSOR : THE CASE FOR OR AGAINST OTT CENSORSHIP’

The Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research (CCLSR), KIIT school of law, KIIT-DU organized the third edition of "We Dissent 3.0 ; A debate competition on  SENSE OR CENSOR : THE CASE FOR OR AGAINST OTT CENSORSHIP on 19th September 2024 with phenomenal success. Mr.Shri Irasis Acharya, MLA from Bhatli, was the guest of honor at the Competition. The event was graced and judged by Mr. Nikhilesh Barik (Guest Judge), Prof. Umang Ghildiyal and Prof. Dr. Rishi Dev. This was the inaugural event under CCLSR’s initiative to celebrate the 75 years to the Indian Constitution.
Amongst a pool of 26 debaters Mr. Abdul Salman from 4th Year emerged victorious, whereas Ms Prachitara Patra (4th Year) and Mr. A Aswin Sekaran from 3rd Year declared first and second runners-up respectively. The enormous success of the event was ensured by the guidance provided to the organising committee and volunteers by Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese, Director, School of Law,Dr. Kyvalya Garikapati, Dean, School of Law, Dr. Tulishree Pradhan HOD, Mr. Shashank Nande, Faculty Convenor, Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research, and Mr. Anshu Adarsh, Faculty Co- Convenor, Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research.
