Ipsita Das
Associate Dean (Post Graduate Programme Council) Associate Professor
Dr. Ipsita Das currently serves as the Associate Dean of the Post Graduate Program and is the Convenor of the KSOL Centre for Studies in Business and Corporate Law (KCBCL) at KIIT.
She embarked on her teaching career in 2011 following her post-graduation from NALSAR University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, and completion of a 5-year Integrated Law Course at Madhusudan Law College, Cuttack. In 2022, she achieved her Doctorate with a thesis titled ""Investor Protection in Indian Corporate Law: A Comparative Analysis"" at KIIT Deemed to be University.
Before joining KIIT, Dr. Ipsita served as a guest faculty at United School of Business Management, teaching law to MBA students. She had the opportunity to participate in Faculty of Laws Events at University College London (UCL) in 2013, focusing on topics such as the Implied Term of Honesty and Fair Dealing and Overcriminalization.
Dr. Ipsita has actively contributed to National and International Seminars and Conferences, presenting her research papers. Her presentation on ""Corporate Social Responsibility: A Tool for Environmental Protection"" earned her the Best Paper Presenter award in 2017 at the UGC-Three Day International Seminar on CSR, hosted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
She has completed her PhD in the year 2022 on the topic "Investor Protection in Indian Corporate Law: A Comparative Analysis" and her Post graduation year was in 2011 from NALSAR University, Hyderabad, in Corporate Law as her specialization. She completed her 5 years integrated Law from Madhusudan Law College, affiliated to Utkal University.
