Prateek Mishra
Assistant Professor I
Prateek Mishra is an assistant professor of law at the KIIT School of Law, specialising in constitutional law and taxation law. His academic journey and professional experience of more than seven years have equipped him with a diverse skill set in legal education and practice. Professor Mishra completed his studies at Delhi Public School in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. He then pursued his undergraduate studies at the prestigious Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, graduating with first-class honours in 2013. Furthering his academic pursuits, he obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Constitutional Law from the renowned National Law University, Odisha, in 2018, again achieving first-class distinction. Professor Mishra was recruited as a management trainee in Torrent Pharmaceutical after his graduation from Gujarat National Law University through campus placements. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the corporate sector and its legal requirements. Professor Mishra's professional journey also includes three years of litigation experience, focusing on civil and revenue laws. This practical exposure has significantly enhanced his understanding of legal processes and their real-world applications. The National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2019, which Professor Mishra cleared, demonstrating his aptitude for academic pursuits. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in constitutional law and taxation law from KIIT School of Law.
