Associate Dean (Research) and Associate Professor-I
Dr. Pratiti Nayak, Ph.D. in Law and Associate Company Secretary (ACS), has over a decade of extensive experience in teaching, academia, and research, totaling nearly 12 years. Her primary areas of interest and research include Environmental Social Governance (ESG), Sustainability, Circular Economy, Corporate Governance, Securities Law, and various aspects of Business Laws. She completed her doctoral research on ""Corporate Governance & ESG Norms,"" further solidifying her expertise in the field.
Dr. Nayak is the Associate Dean for Research & also serve as Faculty Co-Convenor for the KIIT Law School Moot Court Society and a dedicated Core Member of the Centre for Business & Corporate Laws under the Department of Business Laws. She also is the Faculty Convenor for the Centre for Studies on Women & Sustainability (CSWS). In addition to her role as a legal academician, she is a qualified Company Secretary accredited by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Throughout her academic journey, from her Bachelor's to her Master's in Law, she has consistently achieved the distinction of the University Level Gold Medal.
Dr. Nayak has actively pursued research in various areas of law, with a significant focus on ESG and corporate laws. She has also collaborated with international academicians in her research to organize various International Conferences & write collaborative research papers. She has presented and authored numerous research articles at both national and international levels. Additionally, she has participated in and organized numerous conferences, capacity development, and training programs at KIIT University and other institutions.
