Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari is an Assistant Professor of Law (Senior Scale) at KIIT School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University (Institution of Eminence), Bhubaneswar, India; a PhD Research Scholar at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and a Researcher and Collaborator at Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research, Reggio Calabria, Italy. He has worked as a teaching assistant to Dr. Aparna Chandra for the course on Constitutional Law at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He has also previously worked as Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Centre for Constitutional Law and Policy (CCLP) at Parul Institute of Law, Faculty of Law, Parul University, Vadodara. He is an alumnus of Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, where he pursued his LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law. Apart from his specialization in Constitutional Law, he is also an internationally certified and acclaimed mediator at the Peace- Negotiation and Mediation for Diplomacy International Initiative. He also serves as the Regional Coordinator (Asia) for the International Association of Social Protection, apart from being one of its founding members. He has been a member of the Legal Education Awareness Foundation, New Delhi and has been invited to deliver guest lectures at prestigious international institutions like Stanford University, US; the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia; State Academic University for the Humanities, Russia; Istanbul Topkapi University, Turkey; University St. Kliment Ohridski, North Macedonia; Barcelona Technological School, Spain; International Group of Artificial Intelligence, UK; the Federal District University Centre (UDF), Brazil, the Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research, Italy, the Tashkent State University of Law, Uzbekistan; Higher School of the Attorney General’s Office, Brazil; Catholic University of Santos, São Paulo, Brazil and Global Sustainable Futures Network, Wokingham, Berkshire, United Kingdom. He has a keen interest in bridging the gap between the academia, policy making and the industry in the legal field. His areas of interest include Constitutional law, Comparative Public Law, Media law, etc. He has previously co-authored four books on Law and Justice in the Era of Globalization, Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence and co-edited eight books on areas like Constitutional law, Comparative Public Law, Media law and International Law. He is also a recipient of the Dr. J.K. Patel Memorial Award in 2021 and 2022 for his contribution to research and academics. He also received the International Interdisciplinary Eminent Speaker Award by the Peruvian Bar Association in 2022.
