Prof. (Dr.) Rajan Varghese is presently Director, Research and Innovation at the KIIT School of Law. He obtained his Graduate Degree in Mathematics and his LL. B. from the University of Kerala. His Post Graduate Degree and Doctorate in Law were from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala. He practiced in the High Court of Kerala before joining academics. He started his formal teaching career in 1985 at the A C College of Law, Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh and subsequently taught at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore from its inception. He was then invited to the V. V. Giri Natinal Labour Institute, a Government of India undertaking under the Central Labour Ministry where he was engaged in teaching, training and research and was subsequently a Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Later he became the Director, School of Law and Governance, at the Jain University Bangalore and then the Director, Doctoral Programme at the School of Law, Alliance University, Bangalore. He has several articles to his credit. He is a good motivator, mentor and an efficient guide for Law and Social Science teachers and researchers all over the country.
