Biography and academic profile
Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sethi has been an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at the School of Law, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India, since March 2018. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, and he also worked at the Center for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS) in Hyderabad, funded by the Government of India. At CIPS, he worked directly with the Departments of Health and Family Welfare across multiple Indian States. Dr. Sethi teaches Political Science to undergraduates and Systems of Governance and Public Policy to postgraduates and doctoral students. His research explores the interlinks between law and the policy process, including governance systems, public health policy, food security, environment, and sustainable development issues. He has published research papers in national and international journals and contributed book chapters to international publishers. Dr. Sethi delivered lectures at various international conferences and world congresses in Poland, Argentina, Malaysia, and the UAE. Recently, he completed the Nurturing Leadership Program conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
