"Shashank Nande - Assistant Professor of Law
Shashank Nande is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of law. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Shashank has a robust educational background and a strong commitment to legal education and research.
Shashank completed his B.A., LL.B. (Hons) at the School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, followed by an LL.M. from the prestigious National Law School of India University, Bangalore. In 2018, he successfully qualified the UGC-NET.
Before joining KIIT University, Shashank held the position of Assistant Professor of Law at Amity University, Chhattisgarh. His dissertation, titled “Critical Analysis of Anti-defection Law in India,” was completed under the guidance of the late Prof. (Dr.) V.S. Mallar, reflecting their deep engagement with critical legal issues.
Specialising in Human Rights and Constitutional Law, he has a keen research interest in Constitutional Law and Public Law. His scholarly work is well-regarded, with numerous papers published in nationally renowned journals, including UGC-CARE listed and Scopus Indexed journals.
In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Shashank is the Faculty Coordinator for the KIIT Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research. In this role, Shashank contributes to advancing constitutional law Research and fostering a dynamic academic environment at KIIT University."
